SoundCloud launched 2008 is an online audio distribution platform which allows collaboration, promotion and distribution of audio recordings. Originally started in Stockholm, Sweden but was established in Berlin Germany in August 2007 by sound designer Alex Ljung and artist Eric Wahlforss. It had the intention of allowing musicians to share recording s with each other, but later transformed into a full publishing tool which also allowed musicians to distribute their music tracks globally. Ever since it has had dominance it has gone worldwide with over 20+million users and growing by 1.5+ users every month. To find out more about you can go on to http://soundcloud.com/

This service has been mentioned on the famous Wired magazine and won the Schroder Innovation Award what brought this service to my attention was that on Twitter and Facebook I always see Deejays and Artists and me being a house music lover I follow and like Deejay pages and on SoundCloud there they share their latest music and have it on limited downloads or share they music mixes, remixes and new music ideas this is all linked into one account and you can listen to the is music on line. South Artists such as Pascal and  Pearce, DJ Cuebur, DJ Mphoza and DJ Cleo to name a few  and also international artists such as The Layabouts, Louie Vega and Ralf Gum also share they music on this sight and the sight also allows interaction were they can like or dislike the music and add valuable comments on the artists music and this adds great Intel to any artist to know what they doing wrong or right and Space to improve.
SoundCloud has a App  which is the popular outlet for musicians to share their work directly with fans, other artists and industry folks—is filled with hundreds of apps for artists on multiple platforms: mobile phones, tablets, desktops and browsers.
